Hurray fo President Jimmy Carter, our American hero.

Despite the constant trash-talking by the Mallard Fillmore cartoon, Carter shines as a compassionate, truthful, and bold world leader for over 40 years.

Carter has a wonderful knack for pointing out the 800-pound gorillas in America's front room, from needless poverty in our country, our tragic dithering in the Mideast, to the inherent racism in the mouth-foaming trashing of our current president.

I can't wait to read the Mallard's right-wing reaction to President Obama's well-deserved Nobel Peace Prize.
