President Bush was bragging about our nation/s economy, but he never refers to the astronomical national debt.

Also, he blamed the present gasoline high cost to demand. Well, it got me to thinking.

During the winter of 1974 I was working in northern New York and I had to get in some very cold windy and snowy morning lines, by 6 a.m., to purchase gasoline, in those odd and even car license plate number days. Remember?

On one occasion I even had to exchange my Hertz rental car for another one that had a full tank of gasoline at the Albany Airport. Now I call this an acute demand for gasoline.

Yet, I never paid over ,1.40 per gallon for gasoline.

To me it/s obvious that the gasoline companies have kept their prices low to allow the public to purchase their gas-guzzlers and now they are just socking it to them 7 and the Bush family has large oil investments. Get it?
