Helping those who pay taxes

Help me understand this: The county had a ,40-million rainy day fund and it/s gone.

Now, they have a deficit in their promises of pensions, etc., to county employees.

Yet, every day I hear the same nonsense ad for new employees to get on board the gravy train.

How do you think an 82-year-old widow on a skimpy budget trying to pay her taxes and not become homeless feels?

Supervisors, wake up and do the right thing for people who pay the tax bills.
