Sides square off on pet spaying issue

With the amount of suffering and euthanasia that humans have created by being irresponsible with dogs and cats, how could anyone not support spaying and neutering? The only reason not to spay and neuter them is for pure greed - breeding for money. For every animal that is euthanized, there is a human being directly responsible for it.
