Hotel group offers California tour

Larry Broughton, founder of hotel management company Broughton Hospitality Group, has launched a new progressive tour service to some of the company/s dozen hotels.

&#8220From the Beach to the Bay: the Broughton WayC will allow luxury travelers to explore the West Coast from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara to Northern California/s Wine Country.

Upon booking a package, guests receive a &#8220passportC depicting all the destinations of their six-day trip with full instructions and timetables.

They will fly into Los Angeles, where they will be met by their own limousine and driver to escort them to their first destination, the Art Deco Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica.

Activities for guests include a private guided tour of Los Angeles/ architecture and an &#8220InsidersC day with a personal shopper who will introduce them to the area/s shops and boutiques.

Next on the tour is a limo ride to the exclusive Inn of the Spanish Garden in Santa Barbara.

During their stay, guests/ activities will include a private picnic, vineyard tours and a luxurious spa day. In their spare time, guests can go horseback riding, dine and shop.

The limo then will escort them to the Santa Barbara Airport, where a private plane will fly them directly to Lakeport Airport in Lake County, about two hours north of San Francisco.

Another limo will pick them up and escort them to the restored 1890s-era Tallman Hotel. Activities include a personalized tour of local vineyard including Jim Fetzer/s award-winning Ceago Winery, a flight high above the hills in a fully-restored, open-cockpit World War II Stearman biplane, fishing expeditions, hiking, horseback-riding and in-room spa services.

As their trip comes to close, guests will be driven to either San Francisco or Sacramento airport.
