DeWees gets Gray's support

During the last 10 years, I have had the privilege of working closely with Mayor Dick DeWees.

In my position as 4th District supervisor, I serve on numerous committees with Mayor DeWees. He brings a great sense of presence to any table or boardroom. He uses his considerable leadership skills to generate support and consensus.

Lompoc has profitted from a steady economy, a good safety program, reliable services to seniors and youth, Friday night's Olde Towne Market, the new Aquatic Center and many park improvements, just to name a few.

Mayor DeWees represents Lompoc with skill and style at all civic and military events. Air Force officials so strongly admired Mayor DeWees that they invited him to represent the Lompoc Valley at the National War College in Alabama.

Mayor DeWees is well-informed on the topics facing the county and his community. He studies the issues and always makes valuable contributions to the discussions. His colleagues respect his input and judgment, and look to him for leadership.

Mayor DeWees loves his community. He spends full-time representing the city and its members.

I want to publicly express my appreciation of Mayor Dick DeWees, and thank him for the true prof essionalism and dedication he brings to the office of mayor, to the community of Lompoc and the county of Santa Barbara.

I encourage you to re-elect Mayor Dick DeWees. Lompoc needs his experience and leadership.
