Two boys with stab wounds showed up at Marian Medical Center on Friday night, the Santa Maria Police Department reported.
The boys were reportedly two of three people stabbed in the 600 block of West Taft Street during an altercation believed to have been gang-related, police said.
The two boys’ back injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, police said, and a third victim has not been found.
The pair went to the hospital a short time after officers responded to the stabbing about 9:45 p.m.
Witnesses reportedly said that three people were stabbed during a fight in the driveway of a residence. The suspects and victims were not at the scene when officers arrived.
