The Orcutt Mineral Society’s 41st “Rainbow of Gems Show” continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Sunday at St. Joseph’s Church, 298 S. Thompson Ave. in Nipomo.

More than 60 dealers are exhibiting their jewelry, gems, minerals and lapidary equipment. The event will feature collectibles, fossils, rocks and geodes.

The indoor show and outside tailgate event are family-oriented and educational for both children and adults. Children will get a free polished rock from the Rock Box. Admission and parking are free.

The Orcutt Mineral Society is a nonprofit corporation that uses proceeds to award Earth science and geological scholarships at local colleges and supports several other charitable organizations throughout the Central Coast.

For more information,

call show chairman Wayne Mills at 481-3495 or visit www.omsinc.org.
