Tickets now available for Paso Robles Wine Festival

Tickets are on sale for the 2008 Paso Robles Wine Festival, considered California's largest outdoor wine-tasting event, set for Saturday, May 17.

Several new components have been added to the wine-tasting celebration by the event's producer, the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance.

New sponsorship partners, multiple ticket levels, a demonstration kitchen, wine-education classes and a general focus on locally grown, sustainably created products as well as a new Reserve event now complement the more than 90 Paso Robles wineries in the festival.

Reserve admission is the new all-access wine festival pass. Reserve ticket holders can take part in an intimate event on the eve of the festival featuring exclusive wines and cuisine, and join winemakers at the new VIP Lounge at Hotel Cheval's Pony Club on Saturday.

All wine-tasting ticket packages include unlimited wine tasting and a commemorative Riedel tasting glass.

Advance-purchase prices are $125 for Reserve tickets, $75 for Premium tickets, $55 for Festival tickets, $45 for Locals Only tickets and $15 for designated drivers and children.

Tickets and more information are available at www.pasowine.com or (800) 549-9463. Photo identification verifying age will be required at the time of entry. All tickets are limited, and advance purchase is recommended. Free all-day parking will be available at the Paso Robles Event Center, with shuttles operating to and from the event.
