The theme for the 2008 Santa Maria Elks Rodeo and Parade is “65 Years of Friends, Family and Tradition.”
This year’s rodeo is May 30 through June 1, with the parade hitting Broadway on May 31.
The 2008 Elks Rodeo will feature just three performances — evening on May 30 and afternoon on May 31 and June 1. A Professional Bull Riders Inc. competition, featuring bull riding only as part of the PBR’s Challenger Tour, is planned for May 29, what traditionally had been opening night of the rodeo.
