Honda of Santa Maria to hold grand opening

Honda of Santa Maria is holding a grand opening celebration today and Sunday at its new location, offering free hot dogs, a bounce house for the kids, door prizes and more.

The event is designed to introduce the community to the Honda dealership's new location as well as its products and services and two new sales managers.

The showroom, parts and service department are now at 1207 E. Main St. at Highway 101, the former location of Saturn of Santa Maria.

One of the oldest Honda dealerships in the nation, the former Stewart Honda was purchased from Nancy Stewart this year by TVJ Sons LLC, whose partners are Mike Bouquet and wife Tricia, Pat Cusack and wife Dana, and Mike McNulty and wife Diana.

The Stewart family had owned and operated the dealership for 42 years.

The new owners recently ushered in a new team of Honda experts, including sales managers Tim Dynice and Scott Radosevich.

Dynice, who moved to the Central Coast in 1981, has spent the last 22 years in the auto industry. Prior to joining Honda of Santa Maria, he held management positions at Barber Ford, Volkswagen, Subaru & Recreation Vehicles in Ventura.

Radosevich has spent the last 13 years as a sales consultant and financial services manager at Toyota of Santa Maria, another dealership under the umbrella of the new owners.

Radosevich has lived in Santa Maria since 1967.

For more information, call the dealership at 922-4600.
