REPLACEMENT OF CHAPTER 3-4 PURCHASING SYSTEM; AND MODIFICATIONS TO CHAPTER 8-16 PUBLIC PROJECTS OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA MUNICIPAL CODE. The City Council will consider a proposed ordinance that will delete the existing Chapter 3-4 of the Municipal Code and replace it with an entirely new Chapter 3-4 related to purchasing requirements for the City. The Ordinance will also amend Chapter 8-16 related to purchasing and contracting for public projects. This proposed ordinance will bring the City’s purchasing system into compliance with current State rules and guidelines.
Information and copies of the supporting data are on file in the Administrative Services Department, 110 E. Cook Street, Rm 6, ext. 215. Copies of the staff report regarding this item will be available for public review in the City Clerk’s Office at 110 E. Cook Street, Rm.3, the Reference Section of the City Library at 420 S.
